Red Cross Lifeguard Classes
Lifeguarding is one of the best summer jobs for highschool and college students as well as adults looking for extra cash during the summers. We train and hire lifeguards in the Edmond and OKC metro. Average lifeguard pay is over $12 per hour! Kraeger Aquatic provides regular Red Cross Lifeguard certification classes each year. 21.5 hours of in-person class
Red Cross certification valid for 2 years
CPR Mask included
Class locations at Oklahoma Christian University
$300 paid at sign-up
Class 1 and 2 are recertification ONLY, Class 3 is for both new and re-certifications.
Requirements
15 years or older by last day of class
Ability to pass pre-requisite swim test
150 yd swim, 2 min treading (legs only), 50 yd swim
Retrieve 10lbs from deep water (1min40s time limit)
Online work completed before the first day of class

Before registering for the class, please be 100% sure that you can complete the swim test. The registration fee is non-refundable. I would suggest practicing on your own BEFOREHAND.
